How do I set up my email settings in inFlow On-Premise?

Please note: we will sunset inFlow On-Premise on July 31, 2024. After sunset we will stop selling or activating new licenses for inFlow On-Premise and stop providing support (including online KB articles).

In the meantime we will still provide technical support to customers with an active Support Plan.

You can link your email to inFlow On-Premise to quickly send documents to your customers / vendors. What’s more, you can set up a different email address for each user in your system.

Note: inFlow only supports SMTP email protocols. Email servers that use any other protocol are not compatible with our system (e.g. Microsoft Exchange).

To change user logins so you can set up the email, go to Main Menu > General > Change User and then log in using your user information.

Once you’ve determined that you’re on the correct user login, go to the Main Menu > Options > Personal Settings and then click Set email settings. You should see the following options:

If your email address ends in, pick the Gmail option.

If your email address ends in, , or, pick the Microsoft option.

If your email address ends in,, pick the Yahoo option.

After selecting any one of the options above you’ll be asked to enter your email address and password.

If your email address doesn’t end in either of the above options, then you’ll need to use the custom settings option. The specific information required for setting custom email differs from user to user as it’s not something generic. See below for the info you need to look up and input:
