The Free Edition of inFlow On-Premise does allow you to enable multi-user mode, but it would be read-only access. “Read-only” means you’ll be able to view customer information, generate reports on existing data, etc., but not make or save any changes to the information in the system. Only Regular/Premium licenses can have read-write access (making and saving changes to information).
This means you cannot use multi-user mode with more than 100 products without at least 1 license. Otherwise, you would end up with all users in Free edition not being able to make and save changes to your data.
Exception: if you are under 100 products + customers, it is still possible to use multi-user mode with Free edition only.
What happens if you’re running multi-user mode and you have more computers than licenses? This would leave some computers without licenses — so they would be in the Free edition. But this can change once another computer using the license logs out of inFlow. The license would then be available for use by others, even anyone previously on the Free edition.
If you’d like to learn more about restricting some users to only be on the Free edition, please see here.
