You can easily return these items in inFlow On-Premise from the original purchase order by clicking on the <em>Return<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n\n<p><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18451 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/31384974_1.png\" alt=\"31384974_1\" width=\"1016\" height=\"733\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/31384974_1.png 1016w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/31384974_1-300x216.png 300w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/31384974_1-768x554.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1016px) 100vw, 1016px\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>To return an item to your vendor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to your order and click on the <em>Return<\/em> tab.<\/li>\n<li>Select the items you&#8217;d like to return, or&#8211;if you&#8217;re returning everything&#8211;click <em>Auto Fill<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Return to the <em>PURCHASE <\/em>tab and click <em>Save<\/em> at the bottom.<\/li>\n<li>The buttons should now show <em>Get Refund, <\/em>\u00a0<strong>if you&#8217;ve already paid your vendor.\u00a0<\/strong>Click <em>Get Refund<\/em> if your vendor is giving you money back for the items.<\/li>\n<li>If your vendor is giving you a credit, then click the arrow button beside <em>Get Refund<\/em> and you&#8217;ll see an option to <em>Collect Credit<\/em>.<div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-18441 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/31384974_2.png\" alt=\"31384974_2\" width=\"1016\" height=\"733\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/31384974_2.png 1016w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/31384974_2-300x216.png 300w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/04\/31384974_2-768x554.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1016px) 100vw, 1016px\" \/><\/div><\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Unstock<\/em> to remove the items being returned from your inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Save<\/em> to save your changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>You can print or email a <em>Purchase Return<\/em> document at this point, if you like. Click the <em>Print<\/em> or <em>Email<\/em> button and select the document to generate it.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t see a <em>Get refund\/Collect Credit<\/em> option? inFlow won&#8217;t show this if you haven&#8217;t paid your vendor &#8212; it&#8217;s just going to deduct it from the balance of the order.\u00a0You shouldn&#8217;t have to pay for items you&#8217;ve sent back, after all!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From time to time, you may need to return items to your vendors.
