{"id":3299,"date":"2014-05-05T20:27:28","date_gmt":"2014-05-06T00:27:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.inflowinventory.com\/support\/article\/3299\/i-have-a-list-of-prices-for-my-items-how-do-i-quickly-set-them-up-in-inflow\/"},"modified":"2018-05-16T16:31:54","modified_gmt":"2018-05-16T20:31:54","slug":"i-have-a-list-of-prices-for-my-items-how-do-i-quickly-set-them-up-in-inflow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/article\/36646920\/i-have-a-list-of-prices-for-my-items-how-do-i-quickly-set-them-up-in-inflow\/","title":{"rendered":"I have a list of prices for my items, how do I quickly set them up in inFlow On-Premise?"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span style=\"line-height: 1.45em;\">You can import multiple sales\u00a0pricing schemes into inFlow and to do so there are a couple of things you need to know:<\/span><\/div>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.45em;\">You will need to import them one at a time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.45em;\">You will need to set your default price in inFlow (<em>Main Menu &gt; Options &gt; Settings<\/em>) to the one that you&#8217;re importing from your file.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div><span style=\"line-height: 1.45em;\">Before you start importing your information it\u2019s important to ensure that you\u2019re fully prepared (make a backup!). Have a look at your import file. You will need to ensure that your product codes match what is in the system already (if you have products in the system, if you don\u2019t then they will be created when you import). The easiest way to set up your spreadsheet is as follows:<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17841 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/36646920_1.png\" alt=\"36646920_1\" width=\"777\" height=\"109\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/36646920_1.png 777w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/36646920_1-300x42.png 300w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/36646920_1-768x108.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 777px) 100vw, 777px\" \/><\/div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In this configuration you have five pricing schemes that can be imported. Each one will need to be imported one at a time.<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Before beginning your imports it\u2019s a good idea to set up a pricing scheme for each of the columns you\u2019re going to be importing.<\/p>\n<p>To set up pricing schemes in inFlow:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the <em>Main Menu &gt; Options &gt; Settings<\/em> window.<\/li>\n<li>Once open, scroll down to the <em>Pricing &amp; Costing<\/em>\u00a0tab and click <em>Manage Customer Pricing Schemes<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>This will allow you to create a pricing scheme for each of the prices you\u2019re about to import.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Once set up you will need to verify which of the pricing schemes is set as the default. You can do this by clicking on the star beside the pricing scheme you want.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve verified that, you&#8217;ll know which of the columns should be imported first. For example, if you set the default to Wholesale Price, you&#8217;ll want to make sure your the column that will be imported is your Wholesale Price column.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17831 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/36646920_2.png\" alt=\"36646920_2\" width=\"476\" height=\"386\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/36646920_2.png 476w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/36646920_2-300x243.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 476px) 100vw, 476px\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n\n<p>In this case we\u2019re starting with the Wholesale Pricing scheme and after that initial setup it\u2019s simply a matter of running through an import.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.45em;\">Go to <em>Main Menu &gt; General &gt; Import Data.<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.45em;\">Select <em>Product Details<\/em>\u00a0as your data type, select the file you\u2019ve created and click <em>Next<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.45em;\"><span style=\"line-height: 1.45em;\">Select the columns that match the your current default pricing scheme.
