Right now the four languages are the only ones included with inFlow, but you can choose to export the program labels\/fields to Excel, translate them yourself (or have someone else translate them for you), then import that back into inFlow.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/inflowinventory.com\/support\/article\/38240700\/do-you-have-versions-of-inflow-in-languages-other-than-english#changelanguage\">How to change the language settings <\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/inflowinventory.com\/support\/article\/38240700\/do-you-have-versions-of-inflow-in-languages-other-than-english#importlanguage\">How to import other languages into inFlow <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2><a name=\"changelanguage\"><\/a>How to change the language settings<\/h2>\n<p>The language setting in inFlow is personal &#8212; this means if you&#8217;ve created <a href=\"https:\/\/inflowinventory.com\/support\/article\/35052170\/how-do-i-create-users-in-inflow-can-i-restrict-what-they-seedo\">multiple user logins<\/a> in inFlow, they can each choose to use inFlow in any one of the official translations (English, French, Spanish and Chinese). It&#8217;s not a global setting, so if you want to change it for all users you will have to login to each user account and perform the change.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>To change your display language:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <em>Main Menu &gt; Options &gt; Personal Settings.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Click the <em>Display Language<\/em> drop down near the bottom of the window.<\/li>\n<li>Choose the language you wish to use: English, Espa\u00f1ol, Fran\u00e7ais or \u7b80\u4f53\u4e2d\u6587 (Simplified Chinese).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17521 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/38240700_1.png\" alt=\"Personal Settings - Display Language\" width=\"960\" height=\"688\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/38240700_1.png 960w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/38240700_1-300x215.png 300w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/38240700_1-768x550.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n\n<p>Please also note that with older versions of Windows you will sometimes have to install the East Asian characters when attempting to switch to Chinese.<\/p>\n\n<h2><a name=\"importlanguage\"><\/a>How to import other languages into inFlow<\/h2>\n<p>inFlow can help you import your own language into the program but first, you need to translate the labels.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To get a copy of the label file:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <em>Main Menu &gt; General &gt; Export Data.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Choose <em>Language<\/em> as your data type and click <em>Next<\/em>. The file will be exported to CSV.<\/li>\n<li>Open this file in Microsoft Excel (or some other program if you prefer) and add the translations to your own language into the Custom Value column (column 2).<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>File &gt; Save as<\/em> and then make sure to save it as a <em>CSV (Comma Delimited)<\/em> type file.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>See the example screenshot below of an &#8220;English&#8221; translated file. Leave the first column alone and put in the translations of the information on the left under the CustomValue column.<\/p>\n\n<p><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-17511 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/38240700_2.png\" alt=\"Translations in Excel\" width=\"960\" height=\"731\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/38240700_2.png 960w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/38240700_2-300x228.png 300w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2014\/05\/38240700_2-768x585.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n<p>Once you are satisfied with the new language entries you can import the language back into the program in the same manner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To import the translated labels:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <em>Main Menu &gt; General &gt; Import Data.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Choose the language name to import.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <em>Add new language..<\/em>\u00a0option and enter the name of the language you&#8217;re importing into the field provided.<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Save &amp; Close<\/em> then select your new language name from the updated drop down list.<\/li>\n<li>Click <em>Next<\/em> to import the language.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h3>Some language packs from other users<\/h3>\n<p>These languages are not included in inFlow, but some users have generously contributed them. Please note that these have not been updated for inFlow v3 as they were donated a version ago however you can easily add the translations yourself.
