Here&#8217;s how to start!<\/p>\n<h2>Partial fulfill\u00a0(for orders without shipping)<\/h2>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t ship your sales orders, keep shipping turned off.\u00a0You&#8217;ll see a\u00a0<em>Fulfill<\/em>\u00a0tab along the bottom of the order screen.<\/p>\n<p>Any product\u00a0going out right away to your customer should be added to this tab, and inFlow On-Premise will automatically assign it with a\u00a0<em>Fullfill Date<\/em>\u00a0that matches the current date.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-24234 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Fulfill-Date-e1528225454396.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1016\" height=\"670\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Fulfill-Date-e1528225454396.png 1016w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Fulfill-Date-e1528225454396-300x198.png 300w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Fulfill-Date-e1528225454396-768x506.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1016px) 100vw, 1016px\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t provide all of the products on that order at once, the\u00a0<em>Fulfill Date<\/em>\u00a0can be helpful because it shows\u00a0exactly when a product was taken out of stock and given to your customer. This makes it easier to review large orders that may have been fulfilled over a period of days or weeks.<\/p>\n<h2>Partial ship (for orders that have shipping)<\/h2>\n<p>If you ship your orders then you&#8217;ll want to\u00a0<em>Add Shipping<\/em>\u00a0to your order. You&#8217;ll see this in the\u00a0in the top-right corner of the <em>SALES\u00a0<\/em>tab. With shipping turned on,\u00a0you&#8217;ll see a\u00a0<em>Pick\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Ship\u00a0<\/em>tab at the bottom of your sales order screen.<\/p>\n<p>Each time a product is added to the\u00a0<em>Pick<\/em>\u00a0tab, it will be assigned a\u00a0<em>Pick Date<\/em>\u00a0(which matches the current date)<em>\u00a0<\/em>to reflect when it was taken off of the shelves and made ready for shipping.<\/p>\n<p><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-24233 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Pick-Date-e1528225378660.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1266\" height=\"851\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Pick-Date-e1528225378660.png 1266w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Pick-Date-e1528225378660-300x202.png 300w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Pick-Date-e1528225378660-768x516.png 768w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2017\/11\/Pick-Date-e1528225378660-1024x688.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1266px) 100vw, 1266px\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s important to note that inFlow On-Premise doesn&#8217;t adjust\u00a0your\u00a0<em>Quantity on Hand<\/em>\u00a0until it has been\u00a0shipped \u2014 so if you&#8217;re trying to track when an item was removed from inventory on an order that has shipping, you&#8217;ll want to look at the\u00a0<em>Shipped Date<\/em>\u00a0available in the\u00a0<em>Ship<\/em>\u00a0tab.<\/p>\n<h2>Invoicing partial orders<\/h2>\n<p>If you want to invoice as you ship, then please review our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/article\/31872330\/can-i-provide-a-list-of-back-ordered-items-on-an-order\/\">article on back-ordered items<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you plan to invoice only once all items have been shipped, you&#8217;ll want to follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Create your sales order and select the items your customer has ordered.<\/li>\n<li>Click the\u00a0<em>Pick<\/em>\u00a0tab and select the items that are to be shipped out.<\/li>\n<li>Move on to the\u00a0<em>Ship<\/em>\u00a0tab and click\u00a0<em>Auto Fill<\/em>. Only items which have been picked will appear and you can record which box each item has been packed into.<\/li>\n<li>Add any details such as tracking number\/ carrier in the\u00a0<em>Shipping Details<\/em>\u00a0link at the bottom of the tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This order status will now appear as\u00a0<em>Started<\/em>\u00a0(at the top right) and when you&#8217;re ready to ship out another batch of items, simply go back to the pick tab and repeat steps 3-4 as many times as necessary to ship all items out. When all the items have been shipped the status of the order will change to\u00a0<em>Fulfilled<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Another way to quickly choose which items have been shipped is to click the green circle beside the item and select\u00a0<em>Shipped<\/em>.
