What&#8217;s more, you can set up a different email address for each user in your system.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Note:\u00a0inFlow only supports SMTP email protocols. Email servers that use any other protocol are not compatible with our system (e.g. Microsoft Exchange).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To change user logins so you can set up the email, go to <em>Main Menu &gt; General &gt; Change User<\/em> and then log in using your user information.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve determined that you&#8217;re on the correct user login, go to the <em>Main Menu &gt; Options &gt; Personal Settings<\/em> and then click <em>Set email settings<\/em>. You should see the following options:<\/p>\n\n<p><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15911 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/02\/62390404_1.png\" alt=\"62390404_1\" width=\"454\" height=\"561\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/02\/62390404_1.png 454w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/02\/62390404_1-243x300.png 243w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 454px) 100vw, 454px\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n\n<p>If your email address ends in <strong>gmail.com<\/strong>, pick the Gmail option.<\/p>\n<p>If your email address ends in <strong>outlook.com, hotmail.com , live.com <\/strong> or <strong>msn.com, <\/strong>pick the Microsoft option.<\/p>\n<p>If your email address ends in <strong>yahoo.com, ymail.com<\/strong>, pick the Yahoo option.<\/p>\n<p>After selecting any one of the options above you&#8217;ll be asked to enter your email address and password.<\/p>\n<p>If your email address doesn&#8217;t end in either of the above options, then you&#8217;ll need to use the custom settings option. The specific information required for setting custom email differs from user to user as it&#8217;s not something generic. See below for the info you need to look up and input:<\/p>\n\n<p><div class=\"article-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15921 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/02\/62390404_2-2.png\" alt=\"62390404_2\" width=\"454\" height=\"561\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/02\/62390404_2-2.png 454w, https:\/\/onpremise.inflowinventory.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/4\/2015\/02\/62390404_2-2-243x300.png 243w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 454px) 100vw, 454px\" \/><\/div><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Email Address: <\/strong>This is your email address, in full (e.g info@inflowinventory.com)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Server: <\/strong>This is the hostname of the SMTP mail server (outgoing) used by your email service provider.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Port: <\/strong>This is the port used by the SMTP server (usually 465, 587, or 25).<\/p>\n<p><strong>SSL: <\/strong>This depends on the port used by your SMTP server. This option is unrelated to the port number.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Username: <\/strong>This is your username (usually email address) to access your email.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Password: <\/strong>This is the password required for accessing your email.<\/p>\n\n<p>SMTP mail servers differ across service providers so it&#8217;s best to ask them or do a quick search on the internet, for example searching &#8220;AOL SMTP Server settings&#8221; should give you the settings used by AOL.com.
