Keep this in mind when doing a stock count!<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To create a new location for your items out for repair:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Settings<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> window (either through the shortcut from the homepage, or <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Main Menu &gt; Options &gt; Settings<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Scroll down until you see the Manage Inventory Locations button<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this window, add a new location to the list that you\u2019ll use as your \u201crepair\u201d location <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Save &amp; Close<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When your item goes out for repair, you can transfer the item from its current location to the \u201crepair\u201d location using the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transfer Stock<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> feature:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Go to <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Main Menu &gt; Inventory &gt; Transfer Stock<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Select the item that\u2019s out for repair in the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Item<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> column<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add the \u201crepair\u201d location in the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To Location <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">column<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Send Transfer<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Receive Transfer<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to complete the transfer of the item to the new \u201crepair\u201d location<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When your item is returned to you, use the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Transfer Stock<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> feature to move your item from the \u201crepair\u201d location back to its location in your inventory. <\/span><\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The easiest way to track your items out for repair is to create a new inventory location and use the Transfer Stock feature to move items to this location while they\u2019re being repaired.
