You&#8217;ll need to repeat this in the next rows for each component. In the example above, 9400 has 2 components (20101 and 46101) so it&#8217;ll take up 2 rows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ComponentItem: <\/strong>This is the item name\/code of the component product.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quantity<\/strong>: This is the quantity of the <strong>ComponentItem<\/strong> needed in order to make 1 of the finished product. In the example above, 1 unit of 9400 requires 2 units of 20101 and 1 unit of 46101.<\/p>\n\n<p>It&#8217;s important to make sure all rows of the same <strong>FinishedItem<\/strong> are grouped together, so that inFlow can put them all in the same Bill of Materials.<\/p>\n\n<h2>Saving as .csv file<\/h2>\n<p>Once you have your list open in Excel, make sure it\u2019s saved as a CSV. To do so:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Choose<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Save As<\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>from the drop down menu.<\/li>\n<li>At the bottom of this window you\u2019ll see a field<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Save as Type<\/em>. Choose<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>CSV (comma delimited)<\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>from the drop down.<\/li>\n<li>Click<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Save<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Excel will warn you about the loss of formatting, this is not a problem, please click<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>Yes<\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>to complete your save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Ready to import?
